Sublimité Paris, lip scrub&lip mask

Hi! I decided to continue blogging in English. Although most of my readers are Dutch, there are also some people visiting my blog from abroad. So more people can read my blog when I write in English. Today I am reviewing a lip scrub and at the same time a lip mask from Sublimité Paris. Most of the people are using masks and scrubs for their body, face and hair, but lips are often forgotten. Sublimité Paris, a French luxury cosmetic brand, decided to make a lip mask and lip scrub in one and called it the maskrub. The maskrub is made with natural products only such as grape, plum and sea butter.

The packaging of the maskrub looks really lovely and luxurious. Even the card with the ingredients and instructions is made with love and dedication.

On the first page of the card you can read in French some of the ingredients. The ingredients are: caster oil, baobab (seed oil), pomegranate, plum, caolin, and grape. All the ingredients together should make your lips soft, hydrated, protected and shiny.

On the second page of the card are the instructions. They are not difficult at all. You basically apply the maskrub in circular motions onto your lips .One of the things I like most about the product is that you only have to wait 3 minutes before you have to remove it with water. That makes it easy to use it often or to put in your daily morning/evening routine.

The substance is yellow and quite thick. You have to pinch really hard in the tube before something comes out. It is not a pretty face when you put it on (which mask is?) but it does make my lips soft and hydrated. You can buy it on their site for €65. I think it is so expensive because of the ingredients which are all natural. It is meant to be a luxury product and I love it, but I still think it is overpriced.
